Filefront.com, unul dintre cele mai renumite sit-uri de download gaming-related, se va închide pe 30 martie. Ziff Davis, proprietarul sit-ului, a vândut acum câteva luni sit-urile 1UP.com, Mycheats.com, Gametab.com şi GameVideos către societatea UGO Entertainment. Se pare că cei de la UGO nu au fost interesaţi să achiziţioneze şi FileFront, fapt care a condus la închiderea site-ului. De asemenea, acum două luni Ziff Media a închis PC Magazine şi Electronic Gaming Monthly – cea mai cunoscută şi cea mai veche revistă de jocuri multiplatform din USA.

Asta e ceea ce numesc eu prăbuşire.

Pe sit-ul Filefront a fost postat un anunţ în care utilizatorii sunt anunţaţi că mai pot folosi sit-ul doar până pe data de 30 martie, fapt pentru care sunt rugaţi să descarce orice fisier de care au nevoie de pe site sau din profilurile lor personale.
